After many months away from Nelson Rocks, we made it back for just a little while this past weekend before the skies turned a very ominous shade of black and we had to high-tail it off the rock, down the hill and into the car. It was an adventure!

My Take on a "Cowscape"

In closing, we have a Suburban parked in our driveway--courtesy of The Wildland Trekking Company. It's the only vehicle that can haul backpacking clients and their gear around on dirt roads, but Oh the Eco-Shame! I do find it appropriate that the tag says "Burner" because, well, shouldn't we call a spade a spade?
