First Snow on the Farm

Albemarle County got its first snow of the season this week. It was only a dusting, really, but plenty cold and watching the sun rise over the pastures covered in white was really beautiful. All the cows and calves at Locust Grove are eating hay this time of year, and were up early for breakfast when Isabel and I were out on our walk.
