Richmond Wedding and (More) West Virginia

Two weekends ago, we went to the wedding of a childhood friend of mine in Richmond. It was great fun to catch up with some old friends who I hadn't seen in years, and a chance to change out the Chacos and climbing togs for heels, pearls and strapless dress. Steve wore the requisite blue blazer. SO Richmond!
After all that cleanliness and good behavior, it was time to get back to West Virginia, where the food is bad and the climbing is good! We climbed for two days at Nelson Rocks, got some great routes in, and were still home on Sunday in time to do the laundry and cook supper. The coming weekend will find us somewhere in between, home on the farm for our house warming party. Seeing as how it's late July, it'll probably be more like a house heating party, but so it goes when you think it's good sport to see how low you can get the power bill to go each month!
