I've been silent on the blog while we packed and moved up the street. We love the new house--even more than we thought we would, which is a pretty good feeling. The kitchen alone, with it's ample drawers, cabinets, tons of countertop space and a gas range, makes me happy. So we've been busy unpacking, organizing and putting away. I still haven't hung any artwork or mirrors and am trying to be patient waiting on curtains to arrive. Photos of all that soon.
Until then, here's a series from our Sunday stroll in the park after another day of pouring rain. I just heard on NPR that South Carolina has received so much rain that they need to declare many counties agricultural disaster areas. And last summer the Southeast nearly shriveled and dried up from the heat and lack of rain. Global weirding, people. Anyway, I give you Ford having a glorious time being a little boy:
Yellow Rain Boots
The rain boots and raincoat are from L.L. Bean. They weren't too expensive and got great reviews for durability and breathability. And Ford loves them.
