Ford: Four Weeks Old and some Nursery Photos

Getting a bit more interactive, we are! Ford's papa, aka the MM, even got this adoring look last night:

In other news, The Company Store had a 15% sale on upholstered headboards, so I decided it was finally time to ditch the homemade one with the nailhead trim that won't really stay in place and upgrade to a curved version in pool-colored velvet with proper nailhead trim.  This one will even attach to the bedframe, whoohoo! Alas, The Company Store website didn't have a good photo, so we'll just have to wait for it to arrive before I can share.  We also finally got the nursery more or less set up and arranged. I still have hopes of doing something fun with the big white lamp involving yellow chevron stripes and a new shade, but with only about 40 minutes of hands-free time a day right now, craftiness is not happening.
