His Collection Grows...

Happy Easter to you all!

The Mountain Munchkin is accumulating quite a stash of gear, toys, clothes and books already. Yesterday I finished up the baby blanket that I've been working on, inspired by the kits they sell at Purl Soho (I did it for $50 less!)

All the yarn is Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and it's washable! Have to love that.  Then I came home from picking up more yarn to find a package waiting for me.  Some dear friends of my grandparents' sent him the foundations for his library:

I'm not overly sentimental, but I had an almost teary moment thinking about reading these books to him in the coming years.  Awww.
