Good Eats

I was a huge dork and forgot to take a single photo while we were up the North Fork this past weekend.  Luckily, someone else did.

Oh turkey and dressing and gravy and tomato pudding and good times.

Other recent dishes worth sharing:
Curried Butternut Squash and Red Lentil Soup.  This stuff is thick.  The lentils make it all the more filling.   We pureed our soup instead of leaving chunks of squash.  I don't like squidgy things, so chunks of cooked squash was not an option.

Truly warming and good.  Serve with rice and cilantro.
#2:  Bacon and Swiss Chard Linguine.  We had enough leftover bacon that needed to be used and this was awesome.  Met both the hankering for pig and was healthy with the dark, leafy Chard.  I altered this by chopping the stems and cooking them down with the onion and shallot.  Too good to let them go to waste.
