Gourmet, the venerable food mag that's been in publication since 1940. Apparently everyone is in shock that they've axed Gourmet instead of Bon Appetit, even the editor of BA himself. I cannot even imagine how Editor in Chief Ruth Riechl feels today.
I am sad, sad, sad. I suppose they'll convert my subscription to Bon Appetit and I will go on living. Maybe Garden and Gun will stay afloat long enough to provide me with some entertainment value since I just subscribed to that too.
