We had quite the torrential rain and wind storm last night! The storm rolled in to western Albemarle right around dusk, but it was an overcast day leading up to it so I wasn't too inspired on the morning walk. It was quiet in the way only a gray early March Tuesday can be.
An Eastern Bluebird all puffed up against the stiff breeze. They're here in Virginia year round, but they don't seem to begin signing in the morning until it warms up, and I heard this one singing away!
