Check out the New York Times piece "Bond of Brothers in a California Wilderness." I whole heartedly admire and envy these guys. And I really want to go skiing. As in right now.

Wow. I find the idea of living in the wilderness, particularly if there is snow involved, absolutely terrifying. Have you not seen The Shining?!
Um, no, and I haven't seen Blair Witch for the same reason...I want to still enjoy the wilderness!
