Excuses, Excuses

It's slightly pathetic, really, but I don't have a working power cord for my laptop (it broke), so I've been using the MM's when he doesn't need it. All well and good until he took off for a long weekend with his family in Wyoming and I was left with a dead battery in about 45 minutes (apparently I need a new battery too).

And I have all these wonderful photos and adventures to post from my weekend with my mom! So sit tight for a little bit and hopefully I'll be able to steal that power cord away tonight...


On another note, I finally saw Julie & Julia on Sunday night and LOVED it! Loved Meryl Streep, all the cooking, and the hilarious (to me) commentary about blogging. Some of those conversations that Julie Powell had with her mom and husband about her blog rang very true! Not that I've ever received 57 comments in a day, but anyway. i [heart] that film and think I'll take the MM to see it too.
